The contest winner was Michael Berger, 18, a senior at Clear Lake High School.  His Constitutional long speech topic was “ Molding Our Democracy.”  All contestants were also assigned a shorter-timed, randomly selected 14th Amendment topic.  He will receive a $400.00 scholarship that the post will provide to the college he will attend.

The second place winner was Stephanie Healy, 17, a senior at Spring Woods High School.  Her speech was, “Your Constitutional Duty To Vote.”  She received a $75.00 U.S. Savings Bond.

Rachel Thompson, 18, a home-schooled high school senior from Cypress, Texas was the third place winner.  Her Constitutional topic was, “Populace Sovereignty.”  She also received a $75.00 Savings Bond.
